Break the Cost Barrier with “INCREASE”
Mycelium Activator “INCREASE” — Empowering Mushroom Cultivation
Developed by OGC Mushroom, “INCREASE” was created to address the pressing challenges in mushroom cultivation. Made primarily from mineral-based byproducts derived from pharmaceutical production, this innovative activator enhances fungal vitality and supports robust, consistent growth.
Two Distinct Advantages that Deliver Results
Main Component: Mineral Byproducts
🌱 Natural minerals accelerate mycelial growth—resulting in stronger, faster, and more uniform development.
Simple to Apply—Just Mix Into the Medium!
🌾 No special equipment required. Easy integration enables immediate results, improving both efficiency and cost performance.
Scientific Trials Confirm the Effectiveness of “INCREASE”
“INCREASE” was evaluated by the Hokkaido Research Organization - Forest Products Research Institute. Multiple mushroom species were tested, and visible improvements such as shorter cultivation periods and increased yields were observed.
Enoki Mushroom (Wild Type)
Even with only 1g of INCREASE added, cultivation time was shortened and yield showed a positive trend. Harvest consistency also improved, supporting stable production.
Tamogitake
Compared to conventional activators, yield increased by about 10%, and efficiency improved by around 20%. Notably, the functional compound “Ergothioneine” did not decrease—in fact, it tended to increase, which is particularly remarkable.
(Internal Data)
Maitake
Even for Maitake, known for its challenging cultivation, INCREASE proved effective—yield improved by approximately 13% compared to control groups. The results indicate measurable benefits without additional watering steps.
Message from Our Researcher
Our company has long supplied diverse materials such as culture substrates and mushroom bed components. In recent years, however, the mushroom industry has faced severe economic pressures due to currency depreciation and population decline. To meet the demands of this new era—driven by sustainability and health awareness—we established OGC Mush Labo. Here, we continue R&D focused on efficient cultivation systems and resource-saving materials. Personally, my research has centered on developing new functional strains like *Tamogitake*, a mushroom valued for its health benefits and environmental efficiency. Through these efforts, we aim to create products that growers can truly rely on.

Our Mushroom Culture Media
Corn Cob
Crushed corn cobs. Used as an alternative to sawdust, excellent in water retention and breathability.
Cottonseed Hull
The outer skin of cottonseed, a byproduct from cottonseed oil factories. It plays a role in ensuring breathability and as a nutrient.
Bean Hull
A byproduct from soybean oil factories when soybeans are peeled. Used as a nutrient source for mushrooms.
Powdered Beet Pulp
Dried material remaining after sugar extraction from sugar beets. Swells when it absorbs water, used for adjusting the physical properties of the medium and as a nutrient.
